Syed Nayyar Hasnain
Haider, a BPS 21 Office of Police Service of Pakistan has
assumed the charge of the office of Managing Director,
Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) w.e.f. June 22, 2007.
|

OPF Board of Governors has taken various
decisions in its 104th meeting held on July 16, 2007 and
director as under:-
-
To start
construction work of the buildings of OPF Girls
College, Rawalpindi and OPF Public Schools Sheikhupura
and Hangu as soon as possible.
-
To re-activate
Overseas Pakistanis Pension Scheme immediately and
arrange its launching ceremony abroad and inland.
-
To start process of
payment to those, policyholders, whose pension
policies have matured.
-
To enhance
financial assistance of Rs. 50,000/- to 100,000/- for
the destitute families of deceased and disabled
Overseas Pakistanis who the member of OPF.

To set up OPF
sub-Office at Multan to facilitate the Overseas
Pakistanis of the surrounding areas.

To strengthen the
services of OPF Eye Hospitals at Dera Ghazi Khan and
Mirpur (A.K). Moreover, OPF should continue the
setting up of Eye Camps in Overseas Pakistanis
concentration areas to facilitate their dependant
family members.

To start process of
Joint Ventures with private sectors to develop OPF
Housing Scheme, Zone-V Islamabad, Rawat Rawalpindi and
Raiwind Phase-I (Extension) Phase-II Lahore for early
completion.

To gear-up
remaining development work of OPF Housing Scheme
Chitterpari Mirpur (A.K).
