Barrister Amjad Malik Chairman Board of Governor Overseas Pakistanis Foundation visited Peshawar on December 20, 2017 and spent very busy day. Mr. Tahir Ahmed Bukhari, Regional Head, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa received the distinguished guests. The Chairman was accompanied by Mr.Manzoor ul Haq, ex-Ambassador to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr.Habib Qureshi, Executive Member of Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan.

The Chairman visited Army Public School (APS) and paid tribute to the martyrs of the 16 December 2014 he was accompanied by elite Civil and Government officials also. On this occasion, the Chairman said that the nation turns such tragedies into their strength and go on fighting with greater zeal and more courageous determination. He said, today we stand committed to root out this menace of terrorism from our land, once and for all, he added that martyrdom of students has united the scattered nation, due to which, the country is standing as an iron wall against terrorism.

He added that this day would keep recalling us as how much innocent souls we had sacrificed to purge our homeland of terrorists. He further said that the great sacrifices of our innocent beloved children and their brave families would remain unforgettable. It symbolizes our undeterred resolve in love of our motherland. The sacrifices rendered by the Pakistani nation are unmatched. This nation gave sacrifices of life and property in the war against terrorism.

The Chairman appreciated the role of Pakistan Army and their sacrifices in war against terrorism. Later, they prayed for the departed souls of martyrs followed by the wreath.
