Mr.Muhammad Ayub Afridi, Advisor to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD) visited Bureau of Emigration & overseas employment BE&OE) 10th December,2021.He was received by /acting Director General of Bureau pf Emigration and other senior officers. The Director General Briefed the /advisor on overall working of BE&OE.

The Advisor to the Prime Minister on OP&HRD directed that the BE&OE to explore new sectors abroad for employment of Pakistani youth and concentrate on professions like IT, Hotel Industry & maintenance etc. Steps should be ensured to enhance remittances through maximum export of manpower. New protectorate offices may be proposed in such cities/areas which are sending more people abroad. BE&OE may examine the possibility to purchase its own office buildings if funds are available. The officers may facilitate emigrants very efficiently and professionally with due respect and honor. Performance of the BE&OE will be gauged on the basis of services to be extended to emigrants.
Mr.Ali Muhammad Khan, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Mr.Shaukat Yousafzai, Minister for Labour, KPK also met Mr.Muhammad Ayub Afridi, Advisor to Prime Minister on OP&HRD and congratulated him on assuming the office of the Advisor. They also discussed matters concerning public welfare and constituency development. Dr.Romesh Kumar, MNA also met the Advisor and congratulated him.

Meanwhile, Makhdoom Tariq Mahmood-ul-Hassan, Vice-Chairman, Punjab Overseas Commission also met the Advisor and apprised him about the working of Punjab Overseas Commission. He highlightedd the steps being taken to address the issues of overseas Pakistanis while appreciating the efforts of the Punjab overseas commission, the Advisor assured him of all supports and coordination from Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development for the resolution of problems of overseas Pakistanis on priority as per mandate of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.
