Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, Government Of Pakistan

Overseas Pakistanis started migrating to various countries in 1960s’ and 70’s for better economic opportunities and some of them have excelled in their fields and have attained prominence as professionals in different walks of life.
These Overseas Pakistanis have always shown keen interest to contribute for the betterment of the country. Prime Minister Imran Khan in his first address to the nation invited notable Overseas Pakistani professionals to contribute in the making of NAYA PAKISTAN. With a massive diaspora of highly qualified/par excellence Pakistani executives working abroad, Pakistan is entering a sustained and rewarding phase to utilize their expertise in strategic decision making.
To facilitate overseas Pakistanis for an ownership structure in national development and decision-making process, `Naya Pakistan Calling’ web portal has been developed at OPF. It is a repository of curriculum vitae of prominent professionals from Pakistani diaspora, accessible by all relevant stake holders. Par excellence overseas Pakistanis can register themselves from where they can be selected by various Public Sector Institutions/Advisory Bodies, etc. at Federal and Provincial level as independent directors on their Advisory Boards.
