Biography

Abdul Faisal born in Hong Kong, Chinese name Lui Man-tik, aged 26 of Pakistani origin rose to inspector rank in Hong Kong, marking a new milestone in the city’s efforts to bring in more non-ethnic Chinese into the law.

Mr. Faisal graduated at the top of his class at the Hong Kong Police College, putting him on course for a promising career. He joined the police in January 2010, pursuing further studies in his own time and was awarded a higher diploma in 2015.

Faisal won the Brian Slevin Trophy, the Baton of Honor and the Commissioner’s Certification of Academic Merit. He received high praise from his class instructor for the performance and attitude he showed during the training period.

Faisal wants to devote more of his time to communicating with leaders from ethnic minority communities to understand difficulties faced by them and provide assistance.
